Kay Biga
Business

Kay Biga has taught at UWS since 1998. Her courses include business law, business ethics, strategic management and human resource management. 

Ms. Biga has a Bachelor's Degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and a Juris Doctor Degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She is a Rule 114 Qualified Mediator.

Ms. Biga has been the chief operating officer for Biga Affiliates since1984. She has run a company with eight businesses and overseen a staff of 350 people.

Currently Ms. Biga serves on the boards of the Duluth Salvation Army, the Tweed Museum of Art, the 1200 Fund and the 11th District Ethics Committee.

Ms. Biga has travelled to over 70 foreign countries and recently completed a trip to Southern Africa where she visited South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
